We were delighted to assist our clients Eamon McAuley and Tom Adair with the purchase of iconic local bar, restaurant and B&B “Billy Andy’s” which completed last month.
Eamon had been running the business for a period of time as a tenant but with a view to taking over the freehold interest from the previous operators.
With an existing interior design business that had already proven very successful, it was time to add another string to the partnership’s business interests and the opportunity to purchase Billy Andy’s fulfilled a desire to break into the hospitality sector by acquiring a well-established business in a prime rural setting.
To launch the new venture Eamon had, within the first few days, made an appearance on acclaimed TV show “The Hotel Inspector” where he welcomed host Alex Polizzi to offer her expert guidance, steer the business in several new directions and provide ideas for growth.
Having seen the immediate impact that the new owners have made, we look forward to seeing Billy Andy’s, now rebranded as “Sixty Six”, go from strength to strength.
